Victoria Townsend

BSc (Hons) Business Development Manager Vicky is an environmental research expert and marketing manager. At UE Associates, Vicky coordinates SA and SEA baseline data management, leads on various ongoing research initiatives and manages our public participation events. These include workshops, conferences and events management. Vicky regularly advises on and prepares public consultation strategies. These include innovative awareness-raising and marketing techniques to deliver high quality stakeholder engagement solutions. Vicky has worked with a range of public participation media including postcard, leaflet and poster design, radio campaigns as well as various web-based initiatives. Before joining UE Associates, Vicky was employed at the Countryside Agency for 4 years until 2004 where she has managed and coordinated a range of socio-economic, environmental and economic research programmes for the national programme. Research focused on ICT, health, education, rural crime and housing. She regularly worked with partners such as the Office for National Statistics, DfES, Defra and other central and local government bodies. As part of the national research team, Vicky prepared the regional state of the countryside reports for England. She also established the national research database for all countryside research in England. Vicky joined UE Associates in 2006 after a career break to raise a young family.
